General Competitions

We hold competitions at the first meeting of each month, October through May.  Images - both prints and slides - are judged by guest judges from other clubs.  Most of our members do not take these competitions too seriously.  While winning is fun, the opportunity to share your work and techniques makes it a learning experience for everyone.

As a club, we select what we think are our best images to submit to a monthly competition at the Chicago Area Camera Club Association.  Here our best are judged against entries from other clubs.  In addition, individuals are welcome to submit their own work to individual competitions.
