REGULARLY MONTHLY CONTESTS Our contests make it possible for members to enter slides and prints for comparison and appraisal. Judges from other clubs evaluate the images, to select award and honorable mention entries.
CONTEST RULES Contest Entries Each member is entitled to enter four slides (best 3 out of 4 scores count) and three prints (best 2 out of three scores count) in monthly contests. If a member believes a non-winning slide or print has special merit, it may be re-entered in only one subsequent contest.
Classification Members maybe placed in A, AA, or AAA based on skill and experience. The contest committee, made up of the contest chairman and 2 other members determine the class of new members. Classes maybe combined, if there are not sufficient numbers for competition.
Make-up Entries The Contest Chairman may allow make-up entries in monthly contests. Make-up entries should be submitted on a separate card, and will not be eligible for an award ribbon. If a member knows that they are going to miss a future meeting, they should give their entries to another member, to be entered for them.

Monthly Winners Judges select approximately 10% of the entries in each class each month for awards, and another 10% for honorable mentions.
Scores Five honor points are given for each award and three for each HM. Cumulative totals as well as honor points are published each month. In case of a tie, the cumulative honor point score will be taken to determine the winner.
Slide of the Month and Print of the Month After the regular judging is completed, all award entries are reshown to the judges, who then choose the best one as "Slide of the Month" or Print of the Month. Any entry with two "in" votes will be revoted with those receiving three in votes. No runner-up awards are given.
Slides and Prints maybe held by the contest committee for selection as club entries for CACCA and PSA. Other entries maybe taken home after the contest.
