Old and inoperative machines are accepted. They are a charitable organization that uses the donated items for instruction in repair and refurbishing. The restored equipment is donated to 501(c)3 institutions, seniors, disabled persons, veterans, and families in financial need. The people getting the instruction become qualified to work as technicians in collection centers that will result from a recently passed Illinois law, the Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act.
